CAMeA is a research conference in the Agro information systems discipline organized under the auspices of ARCID. ICAMeA attracts researchers from different parts of the world.  The conference includes research paper presentations, research panels, doctoral consortium and keynotes.  The conference is an opportunity for researchers and professionals to discuss issues related to agriculture industry, identify challenges facing the sector, propose solutions tailored to the needs of farmers, and share experiences.  It will also be an occasion for researchers and academicians to connect with professionals and major agriculture industry players by visiting the International Fair of Agriculture in Meknes (SIAM). SIAM is an international fair where professionals, farmers and experts in the agriculture sector come together to showcase and promote their products and services.  In 2014, SIAM featured over 800 national and international exhibitors and attracted thousands of visitors. The theme of this year’s conference is the African Capital of Agriculture.  ICAMeA will be hosted by Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Ifrane, Morocco.

Ifrane is a resort city surrounded by cedar tree forests.  It is located in the heart of the middle Atlas Mountains.  It is often referred to as the “little Switzerland of Morocco”.  About 50 kilometer north of the city is the oldest imperial city of Morocco, Fes.

You can participate in the conference by presenting complete original research, research in progress, extended abstracts, posters, attending sessions, showcasing IT/IS products and services related to agriculture. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

PAPER SUBMISSION

The conference solicits three types of original papers: (a) full papers (b) short papers such as work-in-progress or position papers and (c) posters. Submitted proposition must not previously be published work or have been submitted in parallel to any workshop, conference or Journals. ………

There is no paper format for submissions.  Once your paper is accepted by reviewers, authors will receive an acceptance package that includes ARCID’s format guidelines for camera ready publication.
